This post will consist of 3 parts cause I've been too lazy to blog about past events that I'm just putting the important stuff across ... Or so i think ... Haha ...
A quick rundown on what has happened to my laptop .
For those too lazy to click the image for a larger view I shall be nice and type out what the form says =pReported Symptoms :
1: OS can't load
2: Optical drive can't eject
3: Bluetooth can't work
4: Battery can't charge
5: System auto-shutdown
6: Left touchpad button loose.
Repair Actions : ( This is the good part =x)
Replace Hard Disk .
Replace Fan Module .
Replace Optical Drive .
Replace Battery .
Clean Heatsink .
Reload OS .
Reapply Thermal Paste/Pad .
Update BIOS and KBC firmware .
Rework TouchPad .
Cool huh ? Imagine if it wasn't under warranty =x
Now my laptop runs super smoothly and hasn't overheated since I got it back on Thursday ! : )

My parents came back from Hong Kong yesterday and on top of the Krispy Kreme and some other stuff ...
My Dad got me this !!!

Right ...
Today went to meet up with Zhi Xiong , Roy and Jeremy ... If you don't know them , you probably knew me after 2005 or are not from VS Choir and bleah ... What am I saying ? Haha !
Anyway they're my choir seniors and so anyway ya ... back to the point ...
Met up with them for lunch ...
Had Kushinbo at Suntec .
Yes it's that Japanese Buffet at Suntec .
And as a tradition , we were the first one's in and almost the last one's out xD
Food was quite good and we ate our fill ... Actually more =x
I feel so sinful after eating so much !!
And what a hole in our wallets it burned .
It came to $32.70 per person . Ouchies !
After that we walked around and around looking at nothing in particular .
Went over to Marina to see what movies there were to watch but nothing seems to be nice ...
There doesn't seem to be any nice movies this period of time .
Sidenote : Brothers ( Yes it's a chinese movie ) is a very good show , you should go catch it ! Caught it last week with Wei Jie and Theodore before Theodore enlisted ... But that's another story ... Haha ...
Anyway back to today ... after that walked around ... walked back to City Link than Jeremy left ...
The 3 of us left than went over to Funan to look at DS and Games .
After a while got bored and decided to head over to Sim Lim Square cause I wanted to get my hard disk .
Roy was tired so he went of first .
So anyway walked over to Sim Lim Square and had a good talk with ZX ...
Was talking with him about lots of stuff while shopping for my hard disk ...
But lets leave that aside shall we ?
Anyway , walked round and round looking for this elusive hard disk ... Wonder why not many shops stock Seagate's FreeAgent 3.5" External Hard Disks ...
Most of the shops quoted me a price of $240 . One shop even quoted me $279 .
For a FreeAgent mind you . Not a FreeAgent Pro leh !
Anyway , ended up at my favourite shop where they sold it for only $219 !
Yeah Baby Yeah !!!! 500 Glorious Gigabytes !! *Although technically I only get 465 GB*
This things is huge !! And it requires an external power source !!!!!
It's almost 1/3 the size of my laptop !!!!Won't have to worry about storage space for quite some time !
Haha !
Had a great few days !
And for those wondering ... I've installed all my software needed on my laptop already .
Yes . That means SQL , Visual Studio and the works xD !
