and neglect others ... you end up losing some ...

some people get bored easily ... i guess ... and they simply just fade away ...
but i'm thankful for the friendship we shared however temporary it was ...
others ... have somehow managed to survive for so many years ...

Another milestone in this life.

In other relavant news ...
There are some tensions that are about to erupt .
And I say that perhaps IT is time for them too .
I am also going one step futher to say this ;
Everyone is at fault.
It always takes two hands to clap.
I would point out what everyone has done wrong.
But it would not be nice to air these things on so Public a domain.
Instead, I'll just list down what I myself feel I've done wrongly.
If you think that I've not done wrong, feel free to let me know.

Firstly , I've always been slack.
More so than others.
This semester , I've chosen to take the Laid-Back Approach.
I'm not going to work myself to the ground this entire semester.
I know I've also not been focused.
There is no drive at all.
For this I blame no one but myself.
And you can blame this on me.

Secondly, As Team Leader . ( Frankly I Have Qualms About Whether I Have The Right Stuff)
But as i was saying, as the Leader of this group,
I pretty much have failed to :
Communicate Effectively
Take Initative
Take Control of Situations
Plan and Meet Deadlines on Target and On Focus
For all these, I shall bear the responsiblity.

On the Team as a Whole, we have failed in the following ways I feel.

- Coming up with Solutions to answer the Projects.
I feel that many a time, the solutions are my solutions, polished by the group, and presented.
Do correct me if I'm wrong on this point.
As a Group Project, I feel that the others should challenge my Solutions.
Come up with Alternatives and from there we can work out a better overall solution.

- Just merely Completing the Parts we assigned ourselves.
We are always talking about adding value, and I don't see why we can't implement this when working in projects. I don't mean adding EVERYTHING nor IRRELEVANT stuff. I mean, while working on your part, you think about something related that you FEEL is related and should be added in, jsut add it in. If the others feel it's not relevant, we can debate and discuss on the issue.
That's what learning is about no ?

- Always Wanting To Head Home to Work on Individual Parts.
Yes . I know we all love home. And we all have social lives. But I'm a big believer in Sitting Down together as a Group to work together. You may argue that that is not your way of doing things. Ever wonder why Business Meeting are conducted face to face ? Why not just have everyone Conference over the Phone or Vid-Phones ? It's just different . The Synergy from a Face to Face Session can't be matched. Than again ... This is a personal style .

For now, I can' think of anything more to say ... There is so much more than this I know.

Some Goals I Hope to Achieve After This Own Reflection of Mine :

Start on Projects Earlier.
Communicate More Effectively with Everyone Else.
Taking More Initiative.
Try to Stay More Focused. Try.



I ask that everyone reflect on themselves.
If you're going to say that you're not in the wrong.
And it's the others who should reflect.

but we managed to salvage it based purely on luck and two smoking barrels ...

i would never make this mistake if i was even half focused ...

what can i say ?
life's been nothing but projects projects and more projects.
i hardly have time for everything else ...
or so it seems ...
even if i were to do something ... projects and presentations will be at the back for my mind ...
how the heck does one unwind like that ...
i'm just procrastinating in no matter what i do ... not really unwinding ...

weekend went by in a blur ...
spent most of it not being very productive ... projects ... yeah ... but how much was done ... is really questionable ...

friday was the best day of the week.

had lunch at alumini club house ... food has improved i must say ...
prices for the drinks were however EX .
headed over to ourspace ...
discussed projects till we totally lost control and well ... gave up discussing ... HAH !

headed over to the Singapore Art Museum with Ht and Shane for our Art Appreciation Assignment
have actually wanted to visit SAM for quite some time ...
and just nice work + what I wanna do actually coincides !

we checked out the Korean Art Exhibit ...
and really it was amazing ... the depth of art ...
the things you read between the lines ... the details ...
nothing is as what it seems ... really gave us alot to think about ...
some pictures are on facebook ... but not many ... we couldn't take pictures inside the gallery ...
if you have the time you should really go check out this exhibit !
admission is free after 6 or 6.30 on fridays ... not too bad a place for a date on fridays ;)

finally got out of the museum cause we were 1) hungry and 2) wanted to catch 007

for the second time this semester ...
i've drawn a big mind blank as to what am i doing ...
my focus isn't on school anymore i guess ...

donated blood for the first time ever on thursday.
it was an experience that was quite livable actually.
everyone has fear's of needles and blood.
but both are involved when it comes to donating blood.
and i'll be damned if i said i wasn't afraid as hell.

but i went through with it anyway ...
it was quite painless actually ...
hahaha ...

there was actually this huge group of people who were queuing to donate blood ...
so i suppose that's good right ?
saw lots of guys with girls ... and many were like me first timers ...
prob trying to impress girls ... these guys ... haha
well i've got no one to impress at the moment ... take that !

so i got this butt load of proof i donated blood for the first time ...
- a "be gentle to me. this is my first donation" sticker
- an instruction card on what to do after donating blood for first timers
- a certificate that awards me the "No Chicken Award" for courage in making my 1st blood donation

lol ...

but for all that ... the sense of satisfaction at having done something good is well ... good lar !
although my left arm is damn cui ... even now ...

went to al-azhar for a well deserved dinner

ordered the mee goreng , nann and the mutton masala . holy shit man.
the most shiok things i've eaten in a while .

the garlic nann was pure ownage . the mutton masala was melt in your mouth .
