damn it's been cold recently ...

very cold ...

so cold it chills you to the bone ...

to your very soul ...

but i like it .



seems that in life , you can never have everything .

how very greedy of me to want everything eh .


you gain some . you lose some .

but do the gains outweigh the loses

or are you just losing too much ?

perhaps the latter would seem the case .



somehow . it always leads me to the same question .

of a choice i made oh so long ago .

a choice i thought many a time was the right one .

a choice i've come to regret many a time .


the grass always looks greener on the other side .

somehow .

because . one always looks at the benefits .

never the pitfalls .

perhaps if i made the other choice .

who knows what would have resulted .


one thing for sure is .

there is only one way from here .

and that is forward .
