what do you believe in ?


do you believe in irony ?
do you believe in fate ?
do you believe in love ?

at the exact moment a part of my life ended,
another part started.

at the exact moment i started to come to terms with an end not unanticipated,
i started something not quite expected.

what is the irony you ask ?

that two individuals so opposite, have managed to catch my heart at first glance.
and that i met the latter while bidding farewell to the first.
and yet that is not the most ironic thing yet.
but this i shall not say.

what role did fate play ?

a choice i made. which seemed so inconsequential.
i first regretted it. but now it seems fate had a hand in it.
for you see. this all happened on a plane.
a second choice which i made without a second thought.
opened the gates for a new beginning.

do you believe in love ?

i still do.
